Josefien started playing the cello in 2018, with a small prior knowledge of guitar and keys. She plays semi-acoustic as well as full eletronic, manipulating and looping the cello. Her music is a mix of post-classical music with influences of drone and noise. Very often, fieldrecordings and non-instruments are used as well. The cello is played as the central element of expression but sometimes combined with synth’s and resonating found objects.
